it's true that many Palestinians have adopted infant circumcision in recent years. but it was never the historical norm in Islam.
all those countries adopted routine infant circumcision in the 20th century and have stopped the practice on recognizing its harmful effects. in none of those countries do infant circumcision rates approach those of USA & among jewish populations in countries such as Israel & USA
