So, despite the peace since Good Friday, Ireland should just accept a hard border or what? Any internal political problems are the UK's own doing. Suggestion: no deal Brexit with united Ireland...!

You have to be realistic. Brexit will happen in October. And Ireland may be the 1st casualty. EU don't care about Ireland. USA and UK do however.

Bullshxt Kenneth Lindsey. Forget about those "worldwide negative interest rate bonds" & consider how #US can continue to maintain economic growth thru trade wars & Trillion-$$ Deficits. Wall Street/City of London ❌=❌Economic Prosperity for all. I await the CRASH : 2008 X 100.

The US is the current world empire, even though after WW2 that has been hidden behind a facade (UN, human rights etc). It controls the global reserve currency, having finally wrested that away from England after WW2. Well, 20 T Economy with 40 million poor..

The Anglo/Dutch American Conglomerate has dominated world finance and trade since 1680 and established a rules based system of global trade. USA has had World's biggest economy since 1890, perhaps 1870.

Yes, I know all that. And in 1913 the bankers got full control in the US through the Federal Reserve. You might note the year 1694, establishment of the Bank of England, start of the 300 year rule of central banks. But there are reasons why this system is now at the end.

And now the US has for decades been imposing the opposite of a rules based system: one where their violence or threat of same rules. The Grace-1 incident is not about rules as you would have it but about throwing away any rules.

It was always a combination of 'rules based system' and plunder through force, as all colonial powers.

"rules based system" is a recent formulation, meant to mask the fact that FUKUS et al. have abandoned any pretense of respecting international law.

About the best Iran can hope for is that Turkey does something really crazy off of Cyprus and takes the heat off Iran. But as it stands right now, nobody wants to buy Iran's oil. FM Hunt has already told Iran to come get their ship from Gibraltar.
