I did not know until recently that Britain in fact engineered a huge famine in Iran during WW1, by confiscating crops from farmers (I believe in order to supply troops or something like that). History has been successfully buried.

History repeating itself compliments of Whitehall Mandarins & their puppets in Westminster. While Millions starved in Ireland & Millions more emigrated from Ireland during Great Famine of 1840's Ireland's British Landlords exported enough Grain to adequately feed all Irish People

As Jack O'Brien documented in "British Brutality in Ireland" (using UK sources) & Ray Cotty also covered in "Ireland in Crisis" (as I recall), famine was official British/UK policy to eliminate the Irish. Petty wanted a 'cattle walk' with only 300,000 Irish left to mind them!

Echoes of today, where the elite seem to want to radically reduce the human population so as to retain power, limit damage to the planet they want to enjoy, but still be waited hand & foot.

Ireland should be very concerned right now about being used to its detriment by the EU in its anti Brexit Campaign. EU failure to make acceptable offers to PM May has predictably resulted in a new UK PM next week.

The new UK PM could very well be the last UK PM. If Johnson is the best the UK can hope for then all is lost. It's not a country he should be running but a circus ring.

Big danger for Ireland if USA sides with UK and begins to hammer the EU over its tariff policies. Losing both USA & UK as markets will probably wreck Ireland economy.

USA will not abandon UK, it is our closest friend. Doesn't mean that Trump won't tweet crazy things between now and Ocober, but tweets aren't policy.

most importantly at the moment the US is not a trusted or stable trader, their policies lurch around - since the EU have agreed deals with japan, canada, vietnam, thailand and mercosur how many have the US agreed - ZERO

You can't predict with certainty that EU will exist ten years from now. It has been a lagging economy for years now, and doesn't look like it will get better any time soon.
