The tobacco industry markets to teens because they're the most susceptible to manipulation. One interesting trend(?) I've seen recently, as circumcision rates decline in the US, clinics are stepping up circumcision marketing *aimed at teens* (with slogans like 'girls like it')

When I see clinics aiming pro-circumcision marketing at teens with slogans like 'girls like it', I find it hard to square that with Jen's assurances that Drs are completely magically ethical and pure as the driven snow, just saints, not businessmen.

Circumcision is a ~$2.5 billion/yr industry in the US. They know EXACTLY what's up when they see graphs like this - the writing's on the wall. The accountants are doing the math The business advisors are saying, "OK, market to teens instead, manipulate them into doing it at 18"pic.twitter.com/KU8zFp08nw

scary poll. if it's right only about 15-20% of US Americans have even basic morality. 75-80% support child sexual abuse. amazing. that's shows how

The silver lining there, or encouraging part, is the apparent steady generational shift in thinking on this.

let's face it, if USA Americans don't have a problem killing 500,000 babies, as we did in Iraq, and killing untold millions for profit & ideology, why would we object to mutilating our own babies? it all makes sense.https://twitter.com/AWAKEALERT/status/1143824168632193024 …

It's not a stretch to me that when you circumcise a baby, you're literally etching into his body your 'value system' that 'strapping someone down who doesn't consent & doing violence on them is OK'. That's his first lesson in values. You've told him, 'this is our value system'.

If you're literally teaching boys from when they're babies that society's value system is 'it's OK to do violence to others against their will', then it's not a stretch that they'll grow into adults with that value system. After all, you TAUGHT HIM 'it's OK to do violence'.

Society's message: "It's OK to do this to you against your will" ... congrats, you've literally taught him 'violence to others against their consent is OK, we don't care, if we wanna strap someone down & carve up their body WE DAMN WELL DO IT'.pic.twitter.com/hUNcjvNIG3

That’s like the abortion porn- shocking images to elicit an emotional response in the absence of reason. Not working except in ignorant people. There is no harm and no violence done on the babies.

"There is no harm and no violence done on the babies." that's your mantra. if you keep repeating it, it's because you know it's not true.
