How do you explain that a procedure invented in patriarchal societies(in fact male-supremacist societies) was done for centuries to “attack male sexuality”, knowing that masculinity including male sexuality, was the supreme value in those societies?

in Judaism masculinity was not, and is not, a supreme value. read Daniel Boyarin if you can't see this for yourself.

In all ancient societies without exception, masculinity was ( and to some extent still is) the supreme value.

Fine,but those passive men were leading the ancient society.Maybe not as bad as the Romans where women were property,but they weren’t feminist either.All ancient societies,with the exception of some very isolated tribes were patriarchal.Circ. wasn’t invented with malicious intent
