      I was in a nursery at the hospital the other day (volunteer to support NAS babies) while they performed a circumcision. They applied a topical anesthetic, but that's it. My god I have never heard a baby scream like that. It was straight up barbaric.

      I'd also like to add this particular child was born addicted to opioids- babies like this are already experiencing constant physical pain and discomfort, it seems so cruel to inflict even more pain.
