      I was in a nursery at the hospital the other day (volunteer to support NAS babies) while they performed a circumcision. They applied a topical anesthetic, but that's it. My god I have never heard a baby scream like that. It was straight up barbaric.

      It's way past time for a ban on this practice, it has no place in civilized society. His body, his choice, at 18 when he can consent.

      And I have kids and I have never, ever heard mine scream for any reason the way babies scream during circumcision. It's bloodcurdling; if I heard them scream like that I would be calling 911.

      I have seen an infant dropped on their head (baby ended up being ok btw); the difference in screams was like the difference between a humdrum 4.0 on the Richter scale and a world shaking 8.0
