absolutely; probably putting parents in jail will do more harm than good but anyone who does this needs prison time & the special jail treatment normally given other child sexual molesters laws against child molestation/mutilation are already on books, only enforcement is needed

Well, actually, after the first couple of parent and the first team of doctors are put in jail, no more circumcision will happen, so it isn't that much harm.

a nice fantasy, but laws will not change until personal attitudes and the nature of US predatory medical system change this involves overcoming a lot of psychological resistance which is hard work most people don't want to do
