Why even put your baby under, if it’s not life threatening tho? A new born baby, hit with anesthesia just to cut off pieces of his penis? Skin that actually supposed to be there. it just doesn’t seem logical to me.

its society's norm. but i personally got my son circumcised(w/o anesthesia)bc of fear of it getting infected from him not cleaning it properly as he got older also just in general they are more prone to infections/catching stds. ultimately everyone has their own preference.

I’m against male infant circumcision because it’s painful, unnecessary, and desensitizes the penis. The foreskin contains so many nerves. It protects the penis when its side the skin. Keeps its moist. Circumcised men lose feeling in their penis over time due to it being exposed.

it's not right to punish children for being born boys by means of traumatic amputation with no adequate anesthesia--not just physical but also mental harm is donehttps://twitter.com/Cukullen/status/1092066600252071936 …
