My dad had a circumcision in n his 50’s, due to precancerous cells. Said it was the worst pain he’s ever been in. Strongly encouraged us to get our boys done as infants.

Penile cancer is incredibly rare. Only 1 in 100,000 men are diagnosed with it. On the other hand, 1 in 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and yet we don't involuntarily remove their breast tissue.

Some women whose families have a history breast cancer do get preventative mastectomies. Angelia Jolie did because her mom died of breast cancer. If you knew your family had the genetic predisposition for pencils cancer, surely circumcision would be a reasonable choice?

Even with a family history suggesting high risk of breast cancer, preventative mastectomy requires informed consent of the patient. Consent is the issue. Furthermore, potential health benefits of newborn circumcision are tiny at best. #i2

Respectfully, my husband & I did consent. Parents (w/advice of Dr) make decisions for their babies. My husband had good reason to believe it was better to circumcise our son & make sure he never suffered as an adult like my husband had. Waiting would have defeated purpose.

I guess you're right. It's much better to make a defenseless infant suffer than a grown adult with the ability to prepare for such a traumatic event.

A baby heals quickly , with no memory of the event. My husband wished he could have been so lucky.

You despicable woman, you have no idea what subconscious memories an infant carries with him throughout life. I'd suggest you watch a circumcision on youtube. It's unabashed infant sexual assault and torture.
