      It’s all very well saying this vile&evil practice needs to go, but it’s not the UK’s culture is it?? It’s predominantly African& they need to stop it don’t they? And the judiciary here needs to prosecute those who do it here

      It is, but it is also a Christian practice and it seems they are adopting it there because any kind of sexual pleasure is a huge sin in their religion. It’s the same reason male circumcision is so “normal” in the US, it’s to control their kids, and it’s disgusting.

      I agree both types of GM are disgusting. However, neighter FGM nor MGM is a Christian practice though some Christians do it. It's really an African tribal practice that seeped into the MENA during the Ottoman invasions.

      isn't required would be an understatement Orthodox churches have always taught that male circumcision is sacriligious
