it doesn't hurt them...they need to keep their arms and legs still (babies naturally are not going to) also - they usually give them glucose to calm them and for pain control and use lidocaine as local anesthetic. Also circumcision is not "mutilation"

I've already explained - in older boys and men there are more complications and higher risk and infants heal faster. If you are not going to accept scientific facts, there is no use discussing this with you
Mr Pflieger, do you have any evidence for the scientific facts you are asserting? do you think that the trauma is greater or less for newborns than adults for whom adequate anesthesia is possible?
