I agree. I think I’m pondering more about the personality type that responds this way, so we can figure out how to react to these tactics? “Jerk” seems too easy and unhelpful. (It might be the answer.) I think responding like-for-like, which is what I’ve seen, is unproductive.
intact people don't respond this way. this kind of reaction is not rational--it reflects anxiety bordering on paranoia, which can go as far as circumcision rage. important to realize those aggressive comments are really defensive, from a place of denial and pain.
This is why I don't get aggressive. Because this is always how I see the reaction you're talking about.
