      @circmovie I just saw this documentary and is mind blowing. With all this info I was wondering if that big of a trauma for a newborn could result in sexual violence in adulthood. I know its hard but could you guys follow up this? It’s interesting

      I find such analyses totally unhelpful, wildly speculative, and distasteful. Harmful customs are upheld by social norms in which everyone plays some part; the background conditions work out differently in different cultures, etc.

      i don't think @NewSigmund is suggesting monocausal explanation, but rather describing how things may appear from perspective of child. he is not saying woman are to blame, but suggesting "reasons" people tend to blame women, albeit unconsciously, possibly contributing to violence

      Yes, it is not perspective of the child but perspective of the unconscious of the circumcised adult.
