Change my view... circumcision is rarely ever ACTUALLY needed in rare medical instances, otherwise its mostly ever done preemptively just for "looks". I haven't seen enough evidence to suggest most circumcisions needed to be done or couldn't have been avoided.

thanks. its bullet proof logic! I don't see how circ rates are so rampant in US because of "medical reasons" when in other countries they are not and maybe only less than 10% HAD to have it done? if that...

Medically necessary circumcision is so rare. Most instances in the US are due to phimosis (treatable without circ AND rare) and "infection," which is generally down to improper care. That shouldn't be! Where circumcision isn't a norm, the medical and cosmetic prevalence is 1-4%

in Finland, where the procedure is never done except for real medical need, the incidence is about 1 in 16,700--much less frequently than your estimate!!!

And in Norway, equally rare. It's almost like parents, doctors and nurses in intact countries know all about intact care, and how NOT to CAUSE iatrogenic injuries that result in CIRC! How often do adult men need circ in NORWAY? never!https://youtu.be/82uAAJZ2nXA

Scandinavian countries have health care oriented to public health; they also have a tradition of caring for children.

Exactly. And are the Scandinavian countries overrun with foreskin diseases? No, of course not.
