Countries that routinely mutilate the genitals of baby boys have statistically higher levels of domestic violence, sexual assault, rape and murder than countries that leave baby boys intact. Circumcision trauma is where it all starts, its a pretty big fking elephant in the room

I’ll begin with I’m, with the fairly limited information I have thus far, a proponent for forgoing circumcision. However the way you’ve phrased this, you’re insinuating that having been circumcised is at the very least a reason for rape and violence against women. It’s not.

There is no trauma you can experience, especially in your first days of life, that could ever be an excuse for violence against someone else. Circumcision is an elephant in a room, but not this room. Men aren’t raping bc they were circumcised.

there are a couple issues here. first, the lifelong effects of circumcision trauma are undeniable. Ron Goldman wrote a book on this but a good summary is given here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec92eRrnWdY … for more https://circumcision.org/ these effects mark populations as well as individuals

second, KT implies an explanation is an excuse--but to say that circumcised men are more likely to rape does not excuse rape. but yes, human behavior has causes, and circumcision trauma creates a hostile attitude towards women that can manifest as rape & other forms of violence
