Good point but I was trying to make the point that infant circumcision has morphed into a tribal ritual in the USA
it would be more accurate, as A. Freedman says, to identify infant circumcision as a marker of jewish tribalism, and its spread in the USA as an index of jewish influence, the "universal dominance" Marx foresaw in late capitalism: https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1844/jewish-question/ …
