So I tried to watch that doc about circumcision on Netflix. I even agree that it's kind of strange and backward that it's a norm in the U.S., but I couldn't make it past "whether or not you choose to learn about it, it's there."

cheers mildred! there's some mind blowing information in that movie about how we USAians (if that's where you live) treat each other. similar to what you'd find in movies by Lars von Trier, actually.
