Both were present, they were advised not to be present but my father said he didn’t want me to be alone and so my parents were allowed to stand in, which according to my mother was a bad idea because she said my dad had to physically remove her from the room because she panicked.
so they probably had no idea what a horrible thing they were consenting to. why do you blame your mother more?

Well yeah my mom was 15 and my dad was 16 I believe. They shouldn’t have even tried to have kids, no one’s prepared at that age you’re a baby yourself pretty much even then. I still can’t imagine what they were thinking. Yeah I was planned. Some plan.
