@bdmarotta is right, if we give them a way out of this that doesn't absolutely destroy them, it would be easier to sway them. They are fortunetelling a disaster for their members if they agree with us, this has become self defence for them
destruction of a grandiose self-image, of an organization that defines itself by legal self-protection rather than care for children, and of a mercenary livelihood would not be personal destruction but liberation. most US pre/med students i meet are motivated by money, not care.
