While I am a lawyer, this isn't legal advice. The easiest way for you to resolve it would be to remove the audio from the portion containing the copyrighted song, or just remove that portion of the video entirely. If you want it done "immediately," that should do the trick.

If you want it resolved some other way, you should probably hire an attorney, and/or ask the rightsholder if they'll sell you a license.

"Nothing to back their claim" except, you know, owning the rights to a song they wrote, seeing it used without permission + without fair use, and then taking it down though DMCA for copyright infringement.
