If you dont use stoploss, you cant calc. Risk/Reward ratio which means there is no Risk Management.

Using your position size as stoploss makes you miss out on potential bigger profit.

BTW ... stoploss doesnt only mean taking a loss. Its often also used to protect you "unrealized" profit.
