If you dont use stoploss, you cant calc. Risk/Reward ratio which means there is no Risk Management.

Double your position size but set stoploss at 50% ... puts you in the same risk but reward is 2x.

BTW ... stoploss doesnt only mean taking a loss. Its often also used to protect you "unrealized" profit.

This is not a call just example. My R/R is 4x so its worth to take the trade. I can adjust my entry size accordingly. If i get stopped out i know my TA was wrong yet risk is at minimum.pic.twitter.com/Wko6uiSYOf

Having a stop loss doesn’t mean that you should always wait for it to kick in. Sell early if your trading idea turns out to be bad but have a stop loss just in case
