Listen, Bitcoiners. The more liquid currency always drives out the less liquid. (Gresham's Law, cryptocurrency edition.) So BCH will eventually drive out BTC. Suspending 2x was a big mistake.

Gresham's law makes sense. I just don't see how BCH would become more liquid than BTC

It already is, as a medium of exchange. You have to stop thinking of asset markets.

Well
@SatoshiLite might have something to say about the prospects for$LTC. I am merely observing what is currently happening. The best technology does not always win (just look at Microsoft) -
I agree with you that not always the best tech wins. BTC got some problems to solve before being a mass adopted currency, but I think it should establish itself as something else. BCH has fundamental problems that I, personally, don't like.

I cited Microsoft because in the 1980s, MS-DOS was pretty universally panned by the IT community (of which I was part). But it won the race - became the core of Windows.
-
Nonetheless, I'm perfectly prepared to accept that BCH might not be the winner either. Could be another cryptocurrency. My point is that BTC will inevitably lose because of its illiquidity. I think we agree, really.

You're correct. Since I've joined crypto, I've said how outdated/slow to adapt
$BTC is. Starting a civil war for recognition of the most notable blockchain isn't the way to ease into a better crypto, though. It will tarnish trust of those not invested, or the uneducated investors - 2 more replies
