  1. Grateful to work for a boss who stands up for our work. The Bail Project received taxpayer money, there are people who are accused of murder connected to this org and for those reasons, we dug deeper into the organization. And, we'll continue to ask questions - as will the Star.

  5. The news release says Hoovler admitted to being involved with an Indy gang. Hoovler has prior convictions of Battery Causing Serious Bodily Injury, a previous Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon, and for being a Habitual Traffic Violator.

  6. Hoovler was charged with Possession of a Firearm as a Serious Violent Felon, Possession of a Narcotic Drug, and misdemeanors for the other drugs and paraphernalia. The State also enhanced his sentence with a Habitual Offender charge.

  7. After cutting off his device, the prosecutor's office said he was caught with 2 pistols, a sawed-off shotgun, drugs including heroin, drug paraphernalia. He also possessed body armor at the time.

    LPD says the body appeared to be recently placed there and deliberately covered with leaves, likely happening sometime overnight from Wed. March 16th into Thursday. This is being investigated as a homicide.

    BREAKING: happening now at 74 and Ronald Reagan Brownsburg area. Fire at construction site. This building did not have walls yet, had a corrugated roof. Construction materials inside caught fire. No injuries.
