The one exception I would make is that if you are a non-incel straight male who is for some reason important to an incel—remember you are quite possibly the only person he will listen to. So get brave and talk.

The ones I’ve known, mostly students, were surprisingly open to hearing that it was their goddam stoopid ideas that were ruining their lives, not a conspiracy of attractive women. But I would bet those guys were self selected by their own desire to escape.

I think that the biggest takeaway for the general public should not be what to do about them as individuals, but to realize they’re not “mentally ill lone wolves” - they are a semi-organized group espousing a dangerous radical ideology

I think that in dealing with individuals you should always treat everyone with respect and dignity but also have zero tolerance for bullshit. (Sometimes you’ve got to punch a Nazi)
