And since I removed the "offending" video, I can't appeal the strike but I doubt I would win that anyway. I hope this doesn't mess with my channel too much though all it seems to have done is restrict me from streaming on YouTube, which I don't do as is.

You can appeal the strike directly from Creator Studio in YouTube. Also, here's more info about Community Guidelines strikes and step-by-step instructions to appeal: https://goo.gl/rjyZ3u

Thanks for the response. I deleted the video (as I always do as it's meant to be a temporary announcement) and that seems to have completely eliminated my ability to appeal. Is there a separate form I can submit or am I just stuck with this IMO undeserved strike? Please help

Always appeal. 5 months ago I got a strike for the same reason AND my channel briefly terminated for it. 6 hours after appeal they reviewed it and restored channel and removed strike. They specifcly said it isnt against ToS but it will possibly get wrongly auto striked for it

It's mindblowing how they can't seem to set up automatic processes through coding for things like that and have employees go through cases like this one. It's inconsistent and slow as hell.
