You assume too much. I've no hatred for the fantasy idol of your favourite fable; just like I don't hate the wicked Queen in character in the Snow White story. What would be the point?

You certainly seem to have a problem with god. Why is that?

I have a problem with lies, liars, the dishonest, conmen, snake oil salesmen etc; they who choose to corrupt their fellow human by promoting fable as fact.

So you must have a real problem with the likes of Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins and Phil Mason. Well, at least we have something in common.

You realise ur response is "Well, ur team does it too!" which obviously is a mitigation; an admission that u recognise the absence of truth in ur fable. I guess we do have something in common - even if u're not aware, or honest enough to admit so. Also FYI - Not my team. :)

Why are you looking for an answer to that? One's motive will often have a bearing on what responses one will accept.

Why? What does it matter? I'm not saying I have no guess, I do, many others have already read it, and I'll furnish you will it just as soon as you answer why it matters to you. :)

You've got to have a lot more faith to believe their is no god than to believe their is one.

Drivel - Having zero faith in someone else's wild guess takes no faith. #Atheism is no more than "I'm unconvinced by your fabulous hypothesis and so can't support it." To be #atheist one need not offer an alternative hypothesis.

It's not a wild guess my friend. It is the inspired word of god. The changes made in my life are all the proof I need. Give god a chance and you will have blessings beyond your wildest dreams and the proof you so despratly crave.

"There is a god" IS a wild guess. It's irrelevant what you pretend it is. Changes made in your life were made by your own will to change. I am too honest to pretend a god is possible and only conman could promote such a fable as fact.

I slightly disagree with point 2 in your list: I think the definition of an atheist is someone who doesn't believe in gods. But an atheist could still believe in other supernatural claims, most of which are harmless. OTOH belief in God has many negative ramifications

Fair comment. The titles for points 2, 3 & 4 are suspect in and of themselves; they're labels I've encountered, used by theists, to try and make atheism sound like a religion.
