    A serious problem as Husam Zomlot explains. Global Britain should be underpinned by our values around justice and the rule of law, many recognised as universal values of universal jurisdiction. We need our friends in democracies like Israel to reinforce these, not undermine them.

    This is very sad. Peter was a wonderful MP and the best possible Parliamentary neighbour and support from my election in 1997 until his retirement from Parliament in 2010. I mourn the loss of a fun, kind and good friend.

    We are very sad to have to announce the sudden passing of our Chair of Trustees, Peter Ainsworth who has been a passionate advocate for heritage - he will be greatly missed.
