Coping with COVID for Frontline Workers
A Guide from Crisis Text Line

Connect safely with the people who matter to you.
When your job puts you in a vulnerable position, it may feel like you are even more isolated from your friends and family. You are not alone. Connecting looks different right now. But, it’s just as important as ever. Reach out to friends and family that matter to you and find the people you can lean on for support. You don’t have to be everything for everyone.
Set boundaries with the news.
Right now, the constant case count and media obsession with COVID might feel like you can’t ever get a break. Do your best to stay informed—within reason. Limit your news intake to a few intentional check-ins daily instead of a 24-hour news cycle.
Do something that brings you joy.
When you’re spending so much time and energy caring for others amid the pandemic, it’s important to carve time to fill up your cup too. Dedicate a few minutes every day to doing something that brings you joy in this stressful time--even if that thing is simply a few extra minutes in the shower, a couple pages of a book, or a cup of your favorite coffee.

No estás solo/a.
