Recently I've discovered criticism about the TASes that I've created, with some coming from the established Japanese TASers in the Touhou scene. I've always known that my unquestionably amateur work would draw flak, but I've never been interested in optimizing to the extreme. 1/3

Understandably, in their eyes, my videos aren't even worth watching. They spend ages planning every frame's movement and studying RNG manipulation in pursuit of play that is truly perfect. I will always bear a huge amount of respect to the huge amount of work it takes. 2/3

I don't mean to insult their work in any mean. What I do is purely for entertainment purposes, with some basic dodging of the danmaku that makes TriUltra exciting to most to watch. It is easy to get into with the right setup, and is not difficult to make a survival TAS. 3/5
