      Have you read The Martian Chronicles? I don’t know if it’s “big and dumb,” but since the tropes are a bit dated, I found it a very easy read while still just dripping with that lush Bradbury verbiage.

      I have not but the fact it's Bradbury kind of rules it out for my purposes. I'm looking for like 8th grade reading level and happy ending.
