I originally voted Pokemon because I know you have a blast playing it, but looking at the suggestions and considering how much you love literature, I think a D&D game like good ol' Baldur's Gate 2 would be fun to watch you play.
I think I played the original Baldur's Gate in my friend's basement years and years ago!

My man! BG1's a classic, but BG2's got plenty more side quests and stuff to do compared to it, so that leaves plenty of content to go through in those 24 hours! The Enhanced Edition on Steam also has three extra characters to add to your party too.
