Extremely close, and yeah could be anything one I'll forgive that's German Butterkäse but you're right that's too unclear haha. If no gets closer you won so far.

Oh god I haven’t had Butterkäse in years- they make some in the states, but it’s not quite the same. Overall, very nice choices- we have similar tastes!

I thought what you tentatively put as Tallegio was gruyere, or a similar alpine cheese. Good list but manchego should be higher!
