Update for anyone else with a similar problem: Lowered my bitrate to 4mbps and removed VBR. Seems to be stable now. Will continue to test. Huge thanks to @Schamtoo for the johnny-on-the-spot assistance.

I've experienced 41 instability events with my @Twitch stream in the last 7 days of streaming. My IT guy says the office network looks normal.

Have you tried other ingest points/datacenters? Also, IT is probably considering it in much less exact terms. Webtraffic, netflix, etc... they don't require as stable a connection.

I sampled the list of datacenters when I first moved in and DFW was the cleanest for me. Would be worth trying again, for sure. And my IT guy knows I'm streaming on Twitch - luckily I can text him. Thanks Schamtoo!

Agree with above. Normal office IT folks may not understand the sensitivity of a high bitrate outbound video stream.
