Starcraft nerds: does SC2 put a significant strain/traffic through my modem? ISP suspects that the combination of streaming and SC2 may be causing my modem to reach its lava-like temperatures.

I’ve been using modems since the late 1900’s and I’ve never even HEARD of one overheating....
It was painfully hot to the touch. I couldn’t have held it for more than a few seconds. I now have it off the floor and bought a small fan exclusively to cool it down.
