This has just been the most frustrating day. So sorry to everyone who tuned in to the stream this afternoon. ISP issues continue to plague me, and I'll never be a premier content creator while that's the case. Will turn my attitude around for next week and hit things hard again.

Have you considered a business line? They cost more for the same speed but you get a carrier grade signal and the SLA is generally 99.95% speed you pay for. Consumer SLAs are usually "best effort".
Once I'm making enough money on Twitch to pay my rent and stuff, that's something I could consider. I'll call my ISP to ask about options. Thank you.

If you're having real reliability problems it might actually be worth getting a slower package with a business SLA. Gigabit speeds are cool but if they crap out when you need them for work then a hyper reliable 50/10 package is probably better

Streaming is more about reliability so idk if you’re paying for a 100 up or whatever but a consistent 10-15 up line is better than a 1000up inconsistent line for streaming.

Is a 30/10 package inherently more stable than a 100/35? Those are the only two non-commercial options available from my monopolistic provider.
