It used to be payment every month instead of every 3 months with affiliate among other things like more emote slots and stream quality. I havent checked recently though.

Just keep streaming as much as possible imo. Partner is obviously excellent to get, but it's not as important as creating good content. Cutting out content you enjoy for it isn't worth it tbh. You'll get there, they won't deny success forever.
