Streamers, what microphones do you use? Currently using a snowball and it's just nowhere near the quality I need. Reccomendations? I don't want to break the bank of course but I want to be ready for my next major gig online!
For no-fuss setup, I'd recommend using the Blue yeti. I know it's not top-of-the-line, but it works well for a guy with very low audio knowledge like me!

Did you have many problems with echo in the very empty room? I really have very little stuff so it sounds like I'm in a bathroom a lot haha

None at all! The Yeti has a knob on the back that controls the sound capture, so you can set it to be mono- or bi-directional, which (I think) helps with echo reduction.
