IEM is not paying streamers for the qualifiers while forcing logo use as well as in stream video ads, and rather than let them earn money through donations/subs, they have restricted the use of alerts.
@ApolloSC2 is this really what you want for the sc2 community?

People are still willing to give them content and that’s why this is still happening. Only way it will change is if ALL streamers agree to not take this terrible deal and then the community riot over it. Just like casters undercutting there will always be suckers who bite on this
