Why the fuck does no one talk about the fact that depression and anxiety can give you major memory loss??

Thoughts on building skills: 1) The ultimate goal is to be the only person who does what you do. 2) The most valuable skills don't have a name. They're based on your unique character traits, so they're one-of-a-kind. 3) The Internet makes differentiated skills more valuable.

I built a 6-figure copywriting income, ignoring “best practices” - Didn’t read Boron Letters (couldn’t get through it) - Very rarely use “formulas” - Never copied old sales letters (by hand or otherwise) - I don’t research “obsessively” There are many paths to success.

Today is my last day on The Njoku ministry has now officially moved to the permanent site. It will be my space on the internet where I evangelise and debate wealth creation in Africa. I remember 9 years ago when I wrote my first blog. The Curse of the Mono Millionaire.

What’s a quick read (<1hr), in any format, that either changed your life or is something you’d recommend to everyone?

What is one book that is a quick and easy read, but contains a tremendous amount of wisdom? A few examples: - The Lessons of History by Will and Ariel Durant - Meditations by Marcus Aurelius - Manual for Living by Epictetus - A Calendar of Wisdom by Leo Tolstoy What else?

Confession: I have never, ever designed an interface using a literal grid at any point in my career. 🙊 (The grid is always implied, but I've never used guides. 🤷‍♂️)

I’m confused. How did we conclude that the best way to prepare kids for the future is to cluster them into a setting where they are organized by age, into grades, and forced to learn the same things, at the same time and pace, 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 12 + years? Huh?

Wealth is the power to choose. Financial wealth is the power to choose how to spend money. Social wealth is the power to choose who to hang out with. Calendar wealth is the power to choose how to spend your time. Mental wealth is the power to choose your thoughts.

Future of education thoughts: 1) Most people struggle to learn on their own, so online learning should be social. 2) Teachers are educators and entertainers. In an age of infinite choice, bored learners will leave. 3) The best teachers will teach millions of students per year.
