Dear Media, Please retire the use of the term “Anti-vaxxer.” It is derogatory, inflammatory, and marginalizes both women and their experiences. It is dismissivemy simplistic, highly offensive and largely false. We politely request that you refer to us as the Vaccine Risk Aware.pic.twitter.com/WtAyFOhLuv

        1. Anyone can be "vaccine risk aware", the vast majority take vaccines as they are "disease risk aware". 2. "Vaccine hesitant" describes those who are unsure/reluctant and ask questions. "Anti-vaxxers" are those who actively campaign to prevent others from having their vaccines

We are all PRO VAXXERS until we do the research or witness the 'adverse reactions'. Utter nonsense to accuse anti-vaxxers of campaigning to PREVENT others having vaccines. They are campaigning to prevent FORCED vaccinations usually because they are educated.

would Pro-diptheria be better? Maybe "All for 50 dead people in Samoa" has a better ring.

If you’re “not antivaccine” then you should be able to answer a simple question: Which vaccine(s) do you consider sufficiently safe and effective to recommend in general for children without a medical contraindication?

Vaccine risk biased. No vaccine is without risk, but the risk of a severe reaction is vanishingly small: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vac-gen/side-effects.htm … There is no link with autism https://www.autism.org.uk/get-involved/media-centre/position-statements/mmr-vaccine.aspx … Or mercury https://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/concerns/thimerosal/index.html … But huge evidence of benefit:https://www.who.int/news-room/facts-in-pictures/detail/immunization …
