Criminalizing would target anyone who performs this barbaric mutilation on little girls, who are maimed and often endure a lifetime of pain and trauma.

Read the writings of women who have been traumatized. Who are unable to have normal sexual relations. Who, as children, were held down and brutalized. And Do Not tell me when to “sit out.”

Listen if you feel sorta kind of a way without really understanding that educating people that circumcision should be reserved for people old enough to consent is the key to stopping that.
