    Fun fact about the Netflix miniseries "The Family" about the Christian cult who provides cheap housing for DC politicians. Former ME Gov John Baldacci used to be a tenant in the cult's "C Street" house for $600 per month in rent, food not included.

    Freeman is also a member of “European Americans United,” a California white supremacist group run remotely by a New Hampshire man named John Young, who also happens to be the editor of Kawczynski’s four published books.

    These days, Freeman continues to write under his Andrei pen name, maintaining a blog called “Mind Weapons of Ragnarok,” where he posted his account of his trip to Waterville with Kawczynski.

    In 2014, Freeman’s racism became a political vulnerability for his Russian-immigrant wife who ran and lost the Democratic Primary for a probate judgeship in Connecticut. At the time, anti-racists revealed Freeman wrote for neo-Nazi websites under the moniker “Andrei Kievsky.”

    He was one of three speakers during the infamous 2003 anti-Somali “meeting” held in Lewiston. I attended that get-together (disguised as a skinhead) and reported on it for the Portland Phoenix.

    Neo-Nazi Tom Kawczynski brought a longtime neo-Nazi to W-ville to help protest the “Drag Queen Story Hour.” Afterwards, Kawczynski claimed counter-protestors had been bussed in. Didn't mention that Rob Freeman of Plainfield, CT stood next to him with a larger sign.
