People really woke up like "Fuck Roseanne" like that's not the most anodyne bit of culture you could possibly get worked up about.

Peak Roseanne was just fed up white folk snappin and struggling and it was comfort tv around my house growing up. The reboot caught that vibe a few times and even included a cute lesson about sexual orientation and gender identity, which... better than nothing I guess.

Cautiously optimistic about that show talking to people who need a talking to in a language that doesn't seem self-righteous / confrontational, which can be my go-to tone when I hear rockhead politics in the wild.
