Even Merck, the maker of ivermectin, advises against using it for Covid. Wait for sufficient studies and recommendations. Taking it can cause more harm than good, why risk lifes?

It’s natural when a prescribed treatment isn’t working that other alternatives are explored. And even if it isn’t successful, at least something was attempted, rather than just giving up. This is true of other illnesses, but the same consideration doesn’t seem to apply to COVID.
