It's their platform, not the public's so they can choose. You can still speak in public, to the media, in any public setting. Just not on their non-public platform.

you’re suggesting FB is a private media company and therefore within rights to moderate content but I expect Facebook lawyers would disagree and suggest it’s more about public protection than private censorship rights - especially given the Section 230 liability protections.
