  I would be a lot more inclined to believe Ivermectin might work if it weren't all the anti-vaxers and conspiracy theorists who were pushing it. Same ones who don't want to mask up and social distance.. no credibility! (PS I suggest you go back and read the actual judgement.)

  In Brazil and South Africa where many of the COVID19 patients are also infested with parasites, Invermectin killing these may help the body fight to recover. Here we don’t have the same levels of parasitic infestations in our population.
