Agree that this stuff is absurd. But why choose only this to attack? Because its safe?
-
Telling that the twitter account calling for the adults to intervene is described as a senior male Harvard professor. He obviously thinks he is appealing to his base among the embattled old white males in the Ivy league

Very true. Also it's been done many times before. Granted so have predatory journal stings which I love but those are comedy, not claiming to make an intellectual point
-
What would be a better way of making the point, then? I see things like these as potential "Daryl Bem moments" for these fields. (Not holding my breath though, since the argument is aimed at philosophical leanings that are at the core of these fields. Hard to get rid of.)

From what I read about this case, I didn't see anything that looked like "anti-feminism" in what they did?

People have different definitions of feminism. And if crap gets published in modern feminist journals it just shows it’s crap. Nothing misogynistic or bad about that. Someone calling themselves feminist doesn’t make them right or untouchable.
-
If you’ve followed any of this modern feminism it clearly shows they are the ones who don’t take women’s issues seriously. And if you’ve followed these writers you know they often do.
