I think we need more women in positions of leadership, and that women are currently underutilized as leaders. I therefore propose that for the next ten years we change our default mental model of a leader from male to female.

Of course the alternative to this, which I personally think is more likely, is that our society suffers from collective insanity regarding gender/race/sexuality, and most things that people say about it are insane and would be obviously insane if we could be objective about it.

A basic heuristic in this environment is that anything that would get a round of applause at a TED talk is probably wrong and exists (as a meme) for signalling purposes, not for map-territory purposes.

Because their memeplex is under evolutionary pressure to produce wrong beliefs because when you solve problems with solutions based on wrong beliefs the results cause more problems - which creates more opportunities to "solve" problems Each solution gives power, status and money
